Serious and professional athletes need to have confidence in their performance down to every last detail, especially when it comes to shaving fractions of seconds off a race. Our objective is to collect accurate data, interpret that data, and consolidate it into a user-report that you as an athlete can return to your respective coaches and trainers with.

Differences between our standard assessment experience and this sport-specific assessment:

  • Assessment of performance training processes and exercises
  • Video of training methods and techniques
  • Mobile Data capture of specific training methods and techniques that the Mobile Data hardware and software is best calibrated for

The service provided includes:

  • Data interpretation
  • Printed / electronic reports of data and measured outputs collected
  • Printed / electronic summary of our interpretation and recommendations for use of those findings
  • Following these steps, the opportunity for our ongoing Progressive Training will be made available

Here is the detailed process you can expect when partnering with BioMoto to achieve your athletic goals.

Step 1 – Assessment

An assessment of performance training processes and exercises, will involve these steps:

  • Recording sport-specific movements with video
  • Recording sport-specific movements with mobile data
  • Recording athletic performance movements with video
  • Recording athletic movements with mobile data

Specifically, the assessment will involve these actions:

  1. High Speed Video: Run, Squat, Vertical Jump, Box Depth-Jump Power Clean
  2. Mobile Data: Run, Squat, Vertical Jump, Box Depth-Jump Power Clean
  3. High Speed Video: Agility / Sport Specific Action

At this point we will determine your possible insole need, create it, and schedule a dispense.

Step 2 – Digital Dynamic Report

(5 days post-assessment)

  1. Using Mobile Data Technology
    • Movement Efficiency
    • Power Output
    • Foot, Ankle, Lower Leg Mechanics
  2. Review movements that are depleting athletic output
  3. Review movements that may put you at risk for injury
  4. Identify performance enhancing methods that will be most beneficial in our 3 Progressive Training options below

The digital dynamic report will include these data:

  • Outcomes report
  • Graphic print out of data findings
  • Chart printout of assessment outcomes

Your sport-specific insole will be identified, created, and a dispense scheduled. Your next visit will be the 90-Day Re-Test.

Mobile Data Analysis

The highlighted rows in this table show a considerable force reduction when using insoles during a vertical jump.

The colored graphs show forces throughout the foot while running with an insole. The gray overlays show forces without an insole.

Step 3 – Performance Program

A- Techniques

  1. Review movements that are depleting athletic output
  2. Review movements that may put you at risk for injury
  3. Identify performance enhancing methods that will be most beneficial in our 3 Progressive Training options

B- Homework

  1. Mobility: flexibility and joint motion program
  2. Strength: challenge yourself in your current program
  3. Dynamic Movement: improve nervous system response to training

Possible sport-specific insole identified, created, and dispense scheduled.

C- Progressive Training Program (3 levels)

  1. START: Fundamental strength movement review / correction
  2. IMPROVE: Advanced strength, power and speed technique integration
  3. ENHANCE: Skilled strength, power, agility and speed integration

Possible sport-specific insole identified, created, and dispense scheduled. Your next visit is the 90-Day Re-Test.

Step 4 – 90 Day Re-Test

  1. High Speed Video: Run, Squat, Vertical Jump, Box Depth-Jump Power Clean
  2. Mobile Data: Run, Squat, Vertical Jump, Box Depth-Jump Power Clean
  3. High Speed Video: Agility / Sport Specific Action

Outcomes report comparing data of initial and 90-Day Re-Test.
